… and the house stood there and looked at its reflection in the Vistula river. It leaned out its head into the long perspective of the path and listened as the sound of tumbling stones echoed off the walls of Twardowski’s Rocks.
Time passed (as in its everyday routine), imprinting images on everyday things, objects and walls. Let’s call those out, like ghosts, from the ashes, from the traces of earlier exhibitions that left their traces on the walls, from the foggy memories of our own and from our collective ones.
In his individual exhibition, Bartolomeo attempts a reconstruction of the history of the house which has, for the last 5 years, been a witness of the lively social and cultural life of its inhabitants. The record of contemporary events naturally intertwines with the rich history of the place emphasizing its genius loci.

…a dom tam stał i oglądał się w Wiśle. Wychylał głowę długim prospektem duktu praskiego i słuchał jak echo stuku kamieni odbija się od ścian skałek Twardowskiego.
Czas mijał (jak to ma w zwyczaju) odciskając obrazy na każdodziennych rzeczach, obiektach i ścianach. Wywołajmy je tak jak się wywołuje duchy, z resztek popiołu, ze śladów po wcześniejszych wystawach które odbiły się na ścianach, z zadymionych wspomnień naszych i wspólnych.
Na solowej wystawie Bartolomeo podejmuje się rekonstrukcji historii domu który przez ostatnie 5 lat jest światkiem bujnego życia towarzysko – kulturalnego jego mieszkańców. Historia współczesna naturalnie splata się z bogatą przeszłością miejsca podkreślając jego genius loci.
